D-Day

Ok, so yesterday was the last dance of the school year! I thought that it was by far the best date/dance I have ever had! These pictures were taken at my house before we had dinner!

This is my date Joey!
My mom had Kyle and some of his friends be our servers for the dinner! It was the funniest thing! We ordered them around and Kyle kept asking, "Our we done?" And I would always reply,"No, I need...." :)

My Mom set up everything and it looked so beautiful! Those flowers in the center are from one of her rose bushes! Thanks Mom!

The dinner was a Roast, mashed potatoes, jello, salad, rolls, and this grape punch that my mom also made for New Years! The dinner was so good!

This is our group! So Fun! And if you can tell Joey was a bug and made his eyes go cross eyed for the picture!

DAY DATE-

Ok so for our day date we went floating down the river on tubes. We weren't sure how far we were going to go, but we figured that when we were done that we would stop and walk back. Well the water was kinda cold, and there were some shallow parts with rocks, and one of my friends and her date were struggling cause she kept falling off her tube! haha So they stopped and the rest of us just thought that they were taking a break, so we kept going. We went so far that we figured if we stopped and started to walk back that it would take us forever, so we decided we would float all the way by Joeys neighborhood, then get a car at his house and drive to the start. We got to where we should get out and walk like a half a mile to his house and my other friend and her date said they would wait there for the other two who stopped to take a break. So Joey and I (picture this!) walked to his house in just our swimsuits by a busy road where everyone can see us! Let me remind you that St. George is small and you pretty much know everyone! Also Joeys dad is the Bishop so walking in his neighborhood was so awkward! But it was really all funny too! We get to Joeys, got the truck, and drove where we left the other two. The other couple still wasn't there so we figured they walked back to where we started. so we got in and drove to the start and luckily those two were there! So ya that part of the day date was an adventure but way fun! Oh! and before we went to the river, we went to the churchs little park and made sandwhiches! That was fun!
